When God created the heavens and the earth.
This large painting, 48x48, will be hung Sunday, December 15, 2019, in the Narthex (entry) of the Claremont United Church of Christ. The church commissioned 2 such pieces, one be me and one by Eleanor Scott Meyers, also a Pilgrim Place resident. The art will become part of the church's permanent collection. The name of the painting is "The First Day." It is a depiction of the first 5 versus of Chapter One in the book of Genesis when God created the heavens and the earth. This is not actually from memory.
